Keep a Markdown Copy of Your Brain

Keep the Markdown notes you load into GBrain in a folder you own. If you move, you start from that copy.

Self-hosted GBrain says a Markdown export is not a full database backup, so back up the database too. For hosted, ask about export before you load years of notes.

More in Hosted vs self-hosted GBrain.
