One Pattern Per Object Type

Start narrow. One scheme for the next 30 days beats five clever schemes you abandon.

A practical split: folders lowercase and hyphenated (year already in the path), files noun-first and hyphenated, tickets verb plus object, CRM records matching the real org or person name, tags reused from an existing vocabulary.
