Give the Bot Its Own Inbox

When a bot subscribes to prospect newsletters and mailing lists, give it its own inbox. Do not use your personal address. A dedicated mailbox keeps consent records, filters, and the audit trail with the bot, and it keeps your day-to-day mail from filling up with every list the bot joins.
Name the mailbox so people can tell it is a bot (for example research@ or lists@ on a domain you control). Add filters by sender and list name so a launch announcement does not sit next to a password reset. Keep the credential somewhere safe, never pasted into a chat.
The full loop is in Using Email and Mailing Lists with Your Bot. How to Subscribe to Mailing Lists covers the signup and confirmation steps the bot still has to get right.
